Sau bao mong chờ của khán giả, trailer đầu tiên của bộ phim võ thuật “The Karate Kid" đã được công bố qua trang Yahoo! Movies. Đoạn trailer cung cấp cho khán giả cái nhìn đầu tiên về cậu bé Mỹ Dre Parker trong những ngày đầu chuyển tới sống ở Trung Quốc và học võ thuật từ thầy Han.

“The Karate Kid” làm lại từ bộ phim nổi tiếng cùng tên năm 1984, xoay quanh cuộc sống của cậu bé 12 tuổi Dre Parker khi chuyển từ Mỹ sang Trung Quốc sinh sống. Từ một cậu bé được yêu thích ở Mỹ, Dre Parker trở thành đề tài chế nhạo và trêu chọc của các bạn học Trung Quốc do cậu có cảm tình với cô bạn Mei Ying. Không hề có một người bạn nào trên mảnh đất xa lạ này, Dre Parker không thể nương tựa vào ai ngoài thầy Han, người vốn là một chuyên gia võ thuật. Thầy Han không chỉ dạy võ cho Dre Parker mà còn giảng giải cho cậu hiểu võ thuật không chỉ có đấm đá mà còn là sự trưởng thành và bình tĩnh. Nhờ thầy Han, Dre Parker dũng cảm đương đầu với mọi sự chế nhạo của bạn bè.
